Raising the Standard in Quality, Compliance and Project Delivery

We’re pleased to share that Debmat Surfacing has been awarded Constructionline Gold certification – an important milestone for the business.

Constructionline Gold is widely recognised across the UK construction industry as a benchmark for pre-qualified suppliers. It means we meet the Common Assessment Standard, which is increasingly required by major contractors and public sector clients when selecting companies to work with.

In simple terms, it shows that we’ve been independently assessed across a range of key areas, including:

  • Health & safety (including SSIP accreditation)
  • Environmental management
  • Quality assurance
  • Equality and diversity
  • Modern slavery compliance
  • Anti-bribery and corruption policies

Achieving Gold also means we’ve gone beyond the basic PAS 91 requirements and have been through a more detailed level of scrutiny around how we operate as a business.

For our clients, this gives added reassurance. It means we’re fully pre-qualified, compliant with industry standards, and ready to work, without the need for lengthy onboarding or repeated paperwork. In many cases, it’s now a minimum requirement for working with larger contractors.

For us, it reflects the way we already work day to day. We’ve always placed a strong focus on doing things properly, whether that’s maintaining safe sites, delivering quality work, or making sure our processes are in line with current regulations.

This has very much been a team effort, and it’s down to the consistency and standards the whole team brings to every project.
